Reproductive soundness, excellent mothering skills, and glowing health are the cornerstones of our breeding program. We value functional traits over extremes or fads in either conformation or fiber production. Among our breeding goals is the preservation of the unique and diverse colors and fleece patterns of the alpaca. We strongly believe that genetic diversity is the key to healthy alpacas. We are a founding member of Alpaca Heritage Events Inc., a privately owned company. Ingrid serves on the Board of Directors. Please inquire about the special marketing and educational opportunities you will enjoy if you purchase alpacas or breedings from Stormwind. In the spirit of cooperative marketing, we charge participants of the annual Heritage Sale a modest fee to cover advertising and insurance. You do not pay a commission or any other fees for alpacas you sell at our events.
