Fortune earned his halter championship on 4-15-07 at the ABC in New Jersey, winning over a dark color group of thirteen other beautiful males. We thank Yvette Kirilenko for her expert handling. That said, we should stress that we selected Fortune for our breeding program long before he gained his championship. As proud as we are of his title, we do not allow show wins or losses to dictate breeding decisions.

Bred by Serenity Alpacas, Fortune is “the whole package”: sound conformation, great fiber and coverage, healthy skin, excellent temperament, and a strong libido. He easily settled his first three females, and we couldn’t be more pleased with his efficient breeding performance.

We took a chance when we purchased Fortune as a gangly youngster from Bella Cria Alpacas. Our unwavering faith in his inherent quality and our patience in raising him have been rewarded. Visitors to our farm have been especially impressed with the staple length, luster, and handle of Fortune’s fiber.
