Crias are on the ground - colors range from light fawn to black (Taku carries a recessive for black fiber)! All possess exceptional vigor and sound conformation.

We believe that, if at all possible, animals should be able to reproductively function without interference. As a new owner you may be somewhat nervous about this aspect of raising alpacas. A male like Taku can put your mind at ease. He knows what he is doing and does not need you to probe, inspect, or guide the breeding process. He's firm but gentle. Taku's pregnancy testing behavior is equally valuable to a small breeder. We have not paid for ultrasounds or progesterone tests in years. Taku and our other males have been more reliable and accurate than either lab proved to be in the past. Taku is highly fertile. We will share detailed information on his offspring with you.
